2024 is nearing its end. Sometimes it feels like every year passes just like any other. But today, as we look back at this year’s events and happenings, we’ll see that 2024 does stand out.

Let’s recap EasyPay’s 2024 together—a year where you’ve made a significant contribution, whether large or small.

New services, new collaborations

In 2024, we expanded the options for transfers from Russia to Armenia. This made it possible to receive money transfers from three major Russian banks to the easywallet account.

Equally in demand, we started collaborating with 20 Russian banks for money transfers from Armenia to Russia. Unfortunately, we were forced to stop the process due to legislative challenges. However, we continued working on offering a new solution. As a result, we are summing up the year with the first strategic partnership with T-Bank. That is, you can now transfer money from easywallet to T-Bank by entering the recipient’s phone number. The future promises new collaborations, and the number of partner banks will continually grow.

The year was fruitful not only in terms of partnerships with Russian banks but also with Armenian ones. Thanks to the collaboration between EasyPay and Evocabank, easywallet users can now apply for quick loans. At the same time, our partnership with Ameriabank allows non-customers of the bank to order a free Ameriabank card via easywallet.

EasyPay also joined the Open QR initiative by Idram. This enables easywallet users to make easy payments by scanning the Idram QR codes installed at over 22,500 points of sale.

Last but not least, easydonation was recently added to the payment page in easywallet. Thanks to this feature, you can donate your preferred amount to the Health Foundation for Children of Armenia.

Among the most important: education

Our partnerships aren’t noticeably limited to the financial sector. Just because education takes a central stage in our corporate social responsibility programs,

• we started 2024 by being the general partner of the national round of the International Economics Olympiad,
• which was followed by becoming the general partner of KardaLove 2024;
• we introduced the INTERNSHIP@EasyPay paid internship program: from over 500 applicants, we handpicked 10, who completed a two-month internship in different departments, and 6 of them were hired to work in our company;
• we established a strategic partnership with Business Development Group
• and launched the “Financial Literacy” free course with Armenian Code Academy;
• we also became the payment system partner of NeurOn Talks, the first conference on brain and neuroplasticity in Armenia;
• we were the partner of the Talent Connect Professional Orientation Forum
• and the fintech partner of the Silicon Mountains 2024 Shirak Tech Forum and Silicon Mountains 2024 Tech Summit;
• we went to Cairo and opened the doors of our stand at the Seamless North Africa event, a wonderful opportunity for an exchange of experiences with international fintech companies;
• lastly, we supported the opening of the TUMO Box in Jermuk.

Parallel to the tight schedule of supporting various educational programs, we couldn’t but think about entertainment.

Leisure and art

The year was also full of entertainment and art. With the support and participation of EasyPay and the initiative of Rambalkoshe, the musæum took place, featuring an exhibition in the format of a temporary museum. We were also delighted to be the provider of the most affordable tickets for, and the partner of, the region’s only cocktail festival—Yerevan Cocktail Week 2024.

In 2024, we became the sponsor of the Friendship Park in Gyumri, becoming the park's fintech partner. We contributed to several initiatives, including the Friendship Run charity event and the Euro 2024 outdoor screening. By the way, you can now enjoy discounts on winter activities at Friendship Park when purchasing tickets with easywallet.

Highlighting the importance of sports, EasyPay became the title sponsor of the Armenian Handball Federation this year. Highlighting the importance of tourism and the local economy, EasyPay and TimeTo organized DILIJAN WINE FEST 2024 for wine lovers. As a result of the draw organized during the event, three participants earned tickets for a trip to Montenegro.

International awards

We take pride in winning prizes in a row and would love to humbly list our achievements.

In 2024, EasyPay won two nominations from the Global Economics Awards: “Fastest-Growing Fintech Company in Armenia 2024” and “Most Socially Responsible Fintech Company in Armenia 2024”.

For easywallet, the company also won the “Fastest Growing Digital Wallet Platform – Armenia 2024” award from the Global Business Outlook Awards. Additionally, EasyPay recently received the “Most Innovative Self-Service Payment Terminal Kiosk in Asia 2024” award from the Corporate Vision magazine as part of the Global Business Awards.
